Inventory Specialist: Full Time Position

Job Summary
Coordinates maintenance of inventory of supplies, equipment and materials for company departments.

• Assist with daily receipt of packages
• Receive all incoming inventory into our database – verify quantity and pricing of orders received against purchase orders and work with store management/vendors to resolve any discrepancies
• Assisting with Inventory Control: Receiving; Identifying; Categorizing; Tagging; Assembling; Quality Control; and preparing merchandise for sale.
• Following All inventory Security procedures.
• Prepare daily shipments – coordinate with vendors to ensure correct shipping address, remove items from our inventory management system, prepare packing list of enclosed items and safely package items for transit
• Coordination of repairs being sent to outside repair centers
• Place special orders – verify quantity and pricing of orders placed
• Oversee inventory control at the store level
• Conduct in the physical inventory counts, and (2) physical inventories a year
• Assisting with Stocking and ordering store supplies including office supplies; gift wrap, boxes & ribbon; store daily items, and cleaning supplies
• Exceptional customer service and Communication skills: The Ability to communicate with co-workers, management, vendors, and clients clearly & appropriately
• Assist Customers with Repair intakes, pick-ups, and finding perfect gifts.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Cross Trained for Repair
• Maintain jewelry and watch repairs in our database
• Check all repairs for proper pricing and work with store management to resolve any discrepancies
• Coordinate with the jeweler for timely, correct, and high-quality repair and custom work
• Coordinate with watch vendors to ensure repairs are on track for a timely delivery
• Keep in constant communication with jeweler to ensure timely receipt of repaired items
• Data entry of inventory, findings and components and matching them to work orders.
• Check all repaired items to ensure the work is completed properly and returned in beautiful condition
• Communicate directly with our sales professionals so all jobs are constantly moving toward completion and ready for clients at the requested time
• Communicate with the other location repair coordinators
• Place orders for repair/shop material as needed

Job Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Database: Experience with or willingness to learn software unique to the jewelry industry
• Communication
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
• Must be able to work Saturdays
• Retail Position: Extended Hours during Holiday Season (Nov. 1 – Dec. 24)

• Experience:
o Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
o Inventory control: 1 year (Preferred)

• Detail-Oriented & Organized: Diligent in receiving and processing inventory. Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and organization with
entering data and reviewing inventory balances, costs, and comparing the packing slips to invoices of new merchandise as well as merchandise that needs to be returned to vendors. Attention to Detail is a must
• Analytical: Data-driven to analyze reports to ensure inventory cycle counts are correct, assists with inventory variances, and more.
• Problem-Solver: Resolves inventory variances promptly and is determined to find a positive solution for inventory/repair issues and inquiries.
• Effective Communicator: Communicates with various team members about inventory/repair questions and status of orders/repairs via email, over the phone, and in person.
• Service-Minded: Prompt in processing new inventory and incoming repairs as well as assisting team members with requests.
• Adaptability: Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Sales Associate:

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, results-driven, and highly motivated Sales Associate. Responsibilities

  • Well organized and a keen eye for detail
  • Greet, interact and qualify each customer to determine their individual needs.
  • Building long-lasting relationships with clients
  • Answers customer’s questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
  • Suggests items that match a client’s needs, wants, and desires
  • Client outreach. Keeps clientele informed of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
  • Keeps record of sales, orders, repairs in  customer profile records
  • Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
  • Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
  • Handle all cash/debit transactions using company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.
  • Accepts payment and make change.
  • Wraps or bags merchandise for customers.
  • Appraisals for Insurance Purposes from Sales
  • Perform store set up and closing operations, including opening and closing office area and moving jewelry to and from the store safe and display areas
  • Perform basic store maintenance, merchandising, and other required activities to keep the store clean, safe, and inviting

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Computer Literacy
  • Database: Experience with or willingness to learn software unique to the jewelry industry
  • GIA Certified or willing to get certification
